Tools Programmer - AAA Next-gen Gaming Co.

TOOLS PROGRAMMER
We have a really cool opportunity for an experienced Game Tools Programmer to work on some “top secret”, cutting-edge tools, engine and graphics modules for the PS3 on-site at a solid video game developer. We cannot divulge too much info, but if working on some “non released” functionality for the PS3 excites you, you have solid experience working on next-gen consoles (PS3, xbox 360, wii and even the PS2 may suffice) and you REALLY LIKE the idea of working as a CONTRACTOR for the next year or so onsite in California, then this may be a great opportunity for you.
You need to have the following to be considered:
- Strong C++ & C# skills
- Game Programming experience on either the PS2, PS3, Wii, PC video games or Xbox 360
- Strong OO skills
- Game asset pipeline experience
- Experience working on client side tools a major plus
- Any work on proprietary game engines a huge plus
This position is for a 5 month contract in San Diego. The rate is $65 - $75 / hour with time and a half for overtime.
