Sr. Concept Artist
Our client located in Northern California is currently searching for the next Senior Concept Designer to join their team! Brainstorm creative ideas for characters with Designers and the Art Director, illustrate detailed character, creature, object, vehicle and environment concepts, and work with the Lead Animator to ensure character designs are supportive of animation requirements.

Required Skills
- Excellent digital and traditional drawing / painting skills
- Demonstrated ability to render characters, vehicles, and environments
- Must be able to work within a broad variety of styles and genres
- Must be able to rapidly illustrate concepts based on verbal and written direction
- High art skills in several areas (figure drawing, character design, animation, graphic design, etc).
- Fine Art Background
- Able to respond elegantly to difficult creative changes, often late in the process
- Self-Motivated towards solving creative problems
- Be able to create pencil sketches and fully rendered scenes
- Expert level of skill with Photoshop
- Must have experience in some type of mentoring role, mentoring fellow Artists
- Must have at least 5 years of previous game industry experience
- Must have worked on at least 2-3 shipped titles
- Bachelor’s of Fine Arts (BFA) or equivalent work experience
- Traditional Art work experience
- Worked on multiple genres

Note:
- This is a permanent position located in San Mateo, CA.
- Salary: up to $100K
